Lybolty Kit – A Mass Monitoring system of Lygus bugs

• Use Lybolty Kit as part of a mass monitoring or push-pull strategy for Lygus bugs.
• Apply 400 Lybolty bags per hectare, equivalent to approximately 162 bags per acre, and replace every 2 months
• Space Lybolty bags every 5–8 metres, or approximately 16–26 feet, and distribute them uniformly throughout the crop for optimal coverage.
• In strawberry, hang Lybolty tablets on
  micro-sprin­klers or staple to a 30cm (12 in) wooden paint stir stick.
• In cranberries, tie Lybolty bags to the
  trellis wires.
• Do not place the bags directly on the soil, as
  contact with the ground can accelerate dispenser degradation.
• For best results, start use prior to lygus
  movement into the field, such as prior to flowering. Once lygus are in the
  field, the effect could be less pronounced.
• Shipments include red sticky cards that must be
  placed one in each side of the field as a monitoring tool. This helps to attract and capture displaced Lygus adults. Mount each red sticky trap on a
  vertical stake positioned at ground level.
• Replace red sticky cards every 2 months when Ly­bolty
  tablets are replaced.
